Join NCARB and New York State Education Department Office of the Professions for a conversation about a range of licensure topics relevant to students, licensure candidates, supervisors, architects, and people in the architecture profession. 

Review the necessary steps to achieve licensure to become an architect and other programs to make the most out of your career in architecture.

This is a program for both early career and experienced architects. Don’t miss this in-depth discussion on how to ensure staff growth and development through supervision of emerging professionals in your office.

Learning Objectives: By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • List the entities involved in the licensure process and the different functions of each entity,
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the specific requirements of the Architectural Experience Program (AXP) and the different experience requirements in some States,
  • Describe what to expect with the Architect Registration Examination (ARE),
  • List the New York State requirements for licensure as an architect.
