Paul A. Thompson, AIA

    Paul joined IEI Architects as a principal in 2013. IEI Group is an award-winning design firm, ranking in Interior Design Magazine’s top 200 national firms. IEI provides architecture, interior design, facilities, and project management to corporate, educational and residential clients. Previously, Paul co-founded BluPath with Laura Blau. While at MGA Partners, he was the project manager for the West Chester University School of Music (LEED Silver), and project architect for the Annenberg School for Communications addition at the University of Pennsylvania. He worked for A M Stern, William Kite, and Lerner Ladd Architects. Paul has taught Jefferson and Temple University and presented at international and regional conferences. As vice president of the Meredith Home and School Association, he championed the Meredith Green project. Paul is a founding member of the GreenBuilding United’s Passive House Community. He has a BS in mechanical engineering and a MArch from the University of Virginia.
