The 1875 George Post designed Troy Savings Bank Music Hall Building is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
The Hall is internationally renowned for its superb acoustics and has hosted performances from artists ranging from Sergei Rachmaninoff, Benny Goodman, and Yo Yo Ma to Wynton Marsalis, Lyle Lovett, and Lily Tomlin.
The Music Hall retains many of its original fixtures including the original seats. The Music Hall is uniquely situated on the 3rd floor of the building over what was once the banking floor.
The tour will include an opportunity to view the vacant space below the Music Hall for which renovation and reactivation is currently in the early planning process.
