According to Hinge Marketing’s 2018 white paper, lack of available talent is the biggest threat to the AEC industry for the next 3 to 5 years. That means that recruiting and retaining the best employees may be the most important work your firm does this week.
The relevance of an architectural firm may seem like a foreign concept, but that’s really what we’re talking about. If you look the same, sound the same, and act the same as everyone else, you’re no more relevant than anyone else and you’re certainly considered a commodity. Your employees, and the employees you’re trying to recruit all have lots of options and they’re all asking the same question.
This program will provide answers to those important questions of those seeking employment today, what makes your firm different; why working in your firm is better than your competitors and is your firm relevant?
Learning Objectives: By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Explain why having a clear answer to the question, “Why should I choose you?” is critical to sustainable talent resources success,
- Explain why some architecture firms lack relevance in some employees’ eyes and why they’re being overlooked and commoditized,
- Craft a clear and concise message about what differentiates their firm and what compels employees to choose them,
- Communicate in a neuroscience-based way that resonates with their employees.
